Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati – Explore Local Sightseeing and Evening Cruise

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet our friendly representative who will guide you through the start of your journey. Your exploration of Guwahati begins with a visit to the Silk Emporium, where you can admire the exquisite handloom products. Next, explore the Assam State Museum to delve into the rich cultural heritage of the region, followed by a visit to the Assam State Zoo, home to a variety of wildlife species.

Continue your day with a visit to the Balaji Temple, known for its serene ambiance and stunning architecture. The Umananda Temple, situated on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River, offers a peaceful retreat amidst nature. After an enriching day, check into your hotel for some relaxation.

In the evening, you have the option to experience the Brahmaputra River Dinner Cruise at Alfresco Grand. Day 2 - Journey from Guwahati to Dirang

Day 3 - Transfer from Dirang to Tawang

After an early breakfast, prepare for an exciting journey to Tawang, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. Drive through the picturesque Dirang Valley to reach Sela Pass, located at an altitude of 13,703 feet. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the bubbling rivers will captivate you.

Spend some time around the Paradise Lake at Sela Pass, which is a sacred site for the Monpa tribes and a significant center of Mahayana Buddhism. Continue your drive to Tawang, where you will check into a hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit the Craft Center to admire traditional Monpa artifacts and explore a traditional Monpa village. Day 4 - Excursion to Bumla Pass and Tawang Local Sightseeing

Begin your day with an early breakfast before heading to Bumla Pass, situated at a height of 15,200 feet on the India-China border. The journey to Bumla Pass offers spectacular views and a glimpse into the strategic importance of this region.

After visiting Bumla Pass, return to Y-Junction and proceed to visit Maduri Lake and PTso Lake, both known for their serene beauty. Visit the nearby Gurudwara, which adds a spiritual touch to your journey. Return to Tawang for more local sightseeing.

Visit the historic Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso in the 17th century. This monastery, accommodating over 500 monks, houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. Next, go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gompa, the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang, located amidst stunning natural scenery. Day 5 - Transfer from Tawang to Bomdila

Enjoy breakfast before starting your drive back to Bomdila. En route, visit the 1962 Indo-China War Memorial dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat of the Garhwal Rifles. His bravery in holding back the Chinese attack for 72 hours is commemorated at this site.

Continue your drive, enjoying the views of snow-clad peaks like Kangto, Nyegi Kangsang, and Gorichen. Upon arrival in Bomdila, check into your hotel and relax. Spend your evening at leisure, soaking in the serene environment. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bomdila.

Day 6 - Return to Guwahati and Departure
